Bhavin

Bhavin is a social worker and theatre practitioner from Bavla village, Ahmedabad district, Gujarat. Holding an MA in Social Work, he has been using drama as a medium for social awareness since 2017, addressing issues such as caste discrimination, women’s rights, LGBTQ+ justice, superstition, and class inequality.

He has worked with organizations including Sanchetna (women’s empowerment), Drishti (community radio on social issues), Jan Vikas Sanstha, Buniyaad (social justice), and Chetna (health and nutrition). Currently, Bhavin is associated with The Yothe Collective and the Changelooms Gender Awareness Fellowship, where he is conducting fieldwork in Bahrampur and Gomtipur, focusing on gender awareness and community engagement.
