Philosophy
The Nomad School is founded on the belief that knowledge must first and foremost serve the communities it comes from — that it should arise from lived experience, expressed through local idioms, art, and performance.
Recognising artistic practice as both inquiry and transformation, the School integrates two core pedagogical approaches:
Arts-based research methods
Research-based art practice
Drawing from the rich traditions of storytelling, performance, and visual culture among De-Notified and nomadic communities, the School reclaims these artistic forms as tools of knowledge-making and cultural resilience.
