Preeti Batharu
Preeti, hailing from Reckong Peo in Kinnaur, is an individual driven by a deep connection to her community and a passion for storytelling. Having completed her Bachelor of Arts, she had been working in a private firm until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, inspired by this workshop, she aspires to create a series of small documentaries that highlight and preserve the unique stories within her community.

Priya
Priya, a mother of two, is completing her Bachelor of Arts, with plans to pursue a Masters degree. While filmmaking was never on her radar before, Priya has developed a strong desire to explore this medium as a means to amplify the voices of her community.

Ranjeet Negi
Ranjeet, a resident of Kinnaur, leads a humble life as a farmer. Despite his primary occupation, he has always held a keen interest in filmmaking and nurtured a desire to create films. With some experience in editing and a newfound opportunity for training, Ranjeet is delighted to pursue his passion and embark on a journey into the world of storytelling.

Shekhar
Shekhar, a resident of Kalpa, dedicates his days to farming, nurturing the land with care and tending to its bountiful harvests. However, he always had a deep passion for filmmaking, the lack of means prevented him from pursuing his dream. Now, with the resources at his disposal, Shekhar feels a renewed sense of excitement and possibility.

Tashi Negi
Tashi Negi hails from the enchanting town of Kalpa. For the past 18 years, he has devoted himself as a writer and researcher in the field of Himalayan studies. Although filmmaking felt alien to him in the past, he now believes it is within his reach. The opportunity to explore this new path feels like a dream come true for Tashi.

Avesh Mohammad
Mohammed Avesh is a fashion model. He did his schooling from the Government Model Senior Secondary School in Port Blair, South Andaman. He likes drawing and learning new languages as a hobby.

Nazima Parveen is a Project Manager at the Andaman and Nicobar State Data Centre in Port Blair, South Andaman. She has done her B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. She is an amateur Painter and likes to write as a hobby.

P Mujeeb Rehman
P Mujib Rehman is a highly motivated leader who is skilled in leading successful projects and teams. A graduate in computer applications, his passions are social work and graphic design. He is a dedicated education professional and esteemed manager at Crescent Senior School in South Andaman, where he brings a wealth of experience and a profound commitment to creating an environment where students can thrive intellectually and personally.
During his tenure as the President of Human Touch, his leadership style was characterised by empathy, collaboration, and a genuine desire to uplift those around him. Recognizing the importance of direct community engagement, he actively participates in on-the-ground initiatives. Whether it's organising educational workshops, facilitating skill development programs, or championing environmental causes, Mujib Rehman is a hands-on social worker who understands the value of personal connection.

Sajida Zubair
Sajida Zubair, who lives in the pristine archipelago of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, stands as a beacon of motivation and strength. After marrying renowned journalist and activist Late Zubair Ahmed, she moved to the Andaman Islands in 2001 and emerged as an exceptional educator, eloquent motivational orator, certified counsellor, scriptwriter, and voice-over artist.
As the head of a school in South Andaman, Sajida Zubair is dedicated to shaping young minds. With a passion for an education that goes beyond conventional boundaries, she constantly seeks innovative ways to inspire and guide her students towards academic excellence and personal growth.
She is a sought-after speaker at various conferences, seminars, and workshops. With 15 years of counselling in mental health and emotional wellbeing, her ability to connect with her audience and counselees on a profound level, coupled with her insightful and spiritual perspectives, has left an indelible impact on the lives of many who have had the privilege of hearing her speak. Her skills as a voice-over artist add a dynamic and emotive dimension to her creative endeavours, bringing stories to life with a unique and compelling voice.
Her multifaceted contributions to the fields of education, motivation, mental health, and creativity have made her a respected and beloved figure in the community, leaving an enduring legacy of enlightenment, empowerment, and resilience.

Salim resides in Port Blair, where he leads a multifaceted life as a media designer and dedicated social worker. Recognizing the power of storytelling, Salim strives to utilise the medium of filmmaking to address and solve various issues faced by people within his community.

Nisha Nakhawat
Nisha, a spirited 22-year-old hailing from the enchanting city of Jodhpur, is on the verge of completing her final year of a Bachelor's degree and is also pursuing Nursing. As Nisha continues to evolve, she wants to learn filmmaking to create impactful films that awaken minds and spark a movement towards a more compassionate and aware society.

Naru Nath
Naru, hailing from Dabla Gaon in Jaisalmer, is a trailblazer within the Kalbeliya community. He holds the distinction of being the first member of his community to graduate, a remarkable achievement that has inspired him to pursue his passion for filmmaking. Naru's ultimate goal is to create a series of documentaries, where he can utilise his expertise in handling the camera to tell compelling stories. He works with Jai Bhim Sansthan as a social worker.

Tulsidas Raj
Tulsi Das, is the founder of Jai Bhim Vikas Shikshan Sansthan, Rajasthan. He is a dedicated social worker committed to empowering the Dalit community. Through his organization, he has tirelessly worked to address critical issues such as labour exploitation, child abuse, and caste discrimination. With a deep understanding of the power of storytelling, Tulsi Das is eager to leverage filmmaking as a medium to communicate the stories of marginalized communities and drive meaningful change.
