Jharnaben Pathak

Dr. Jharna Pathak (fmjharna@gmail.com) is a developmental feminist and social scientist, serving as Director In-charge and faculty member at the GIDR and Secretary of AWAG. She is a committed advocate for women’s rights, integrating feminist theory with grassroots community action. Her research focuses on gender perspectives within the broader frameworks of rights, equity, and sustainable development. Dr. Pathak has co-authored two books and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, edited volumes, and magazines. She has also taught postgraduate courses and designed training programmes for students, activists, and government officials, fostering critical reflection and deeper engagement with gender and social justice issues.
