Krunal Panchal

Kunal is a theatre artist, researcher, and social activist with eight years of experience using theatre as a catalyst for social transformation. His work addresses Dalit and Adivasi rights, LGBTQ+ justice, mob lynching, and gender equality through socially engaged performance and community practice.

Currently pursuing a PhD on the Chhara community, Kunal writes, directs, and performs issue-based theatre. For the past four years, he has facilitated theatre workshops in Ahmedabad, collaborating with young people to critically examine social realities through creative expression. As a Changeloomer and Fellow with Vimukta Trust, he works in Chharanagar, Ramol, and Vatva, strengthening women’s leadership and advancing community empowerment through theatre and education.
